Payout issues

Sold an item around first of December, ebay said funds were "available" but I never received them.  No notification they were send and no Bank Reference ID listed for it even now.

At about the same time I did receive a payment for far less money but with no order number.  In searching I see the initial payout amount for the original sale linked to this smaller amount.  A detailed transaction report shows the 2 as separate line items, not of the same sale.  I'm sure they're somehow connected, bad link maybe, although payment amounts are grossly incorrect.

Can't get answers via auto assistant, can't find a phone number.  What should I do?

If you buy your shipping label on Ebay, those funds are taken from any avaliable funds before they are sent to you.

Have a great day.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't expect such a quick response!

Yes, I know, but they're not tied to the same sale.  Shipping was already deducted from the item at $19, so my payout should have been $157,  but I only see this payout of $60.  And I have a hard time believing I paid $100 in fees on a $170 sale.

It's a mess, I know.

Is talking to ebay out of the question now?

That doesn't matter.

Say you have $100 in avaliable funds that haven't been sent to you, then have a couple more sales.

If the shipping labels for those other orders are $10 each, the $20 will come from the $100 avaliable funds.

Then the pay out would only be $80 and not the original $100.

Have a great day.

Thanks again.  You were correct.  And I impatient.

I just received a credit for a cancelled transaction that had occurred earlier, and that along with the orders and processed payments of the days up to my issue, total up correctly.

Appreciate your assistance!

Have you reviewed the detail info offered 24/7 in your Seller Hub.

Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

As for contacting Ebay, that is not a difficult thing.  Have you looked around for your options on the site?

******************************************************

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/ebay

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
