Is everyone being asked by EBay to allow them to manage your payments rather then PayPal? eBay is asking for my Bank account information including my routing number and account number and last 2 deposits made into my bank account to verify my account.... Is this really the only way to receive payments now? It’s not giving me any other option. The switch is permanently on as far as EBay managing my payments I can’t even turn it off if I wanted to. Can anyone please help me understand if this is something that EBay is really requiring or have I been hacked?

Yes; all you state is been happening since 2019 and by end of this year, all selling on ebay must use MP. Paypal will no longer be the processor.

@adribri11 You have not been hacked. This is the new payment system being utilized by eBay. This same exact system is used by Etsy. There is nothing nefarious about it. The contract between eBay and PayPal has ended. If you want to continue to sell on this platform you will need to transition over to MP. Just set up a new checking account to make things simpler. Since 2018 eBay has been switching sellers to MP in anticipation of the expiration of their contract with PayPay for processing buyer payments.
