The night before last, I bought something on EBay and planned to use PayPal to pay for it. I tried several times and kept receiving this error message. "Looks like this action is not supported. Please return and report this error so that we can support it in the future. Invalid client ID or redirect URL."
I sent a quick note to my seller - let them knows what happened and kept trying. Still no success yesterday - I finally used a credit card and payment went through immediately.
Today, I found something else I needed...same thing, I'm still unable to use PayPal. I've had an acccount for 10 plus years this is my first problem. I can log into my account - password works for me.
I checked the Payments Board on EBay - there are at least 10 of us all having the same problem, posting on the same thread, and we're not getting any response or assistance from anyone.
I can't speak for any of the other posters. I can tell you I am a Buyer only and I'm not a problem buyer. This is my only ID. What do I/we need to do??
Thanks, guys! Really appreciate your help and direction!

Hi, sorry to hear of your frustration. The first thing i would do is call PayPal and get them involved. Have you done this already?

@holiday*cockers
There have been a lot of post lately about people having problems paying.
Hopefully Ebay will get the problem fixed soon.

Do you know if your seller(s) is (are) using ebay's Managed Payments?
I think it is supposed to be working with PayPal 'soon' - if not yet, in the near future - but PayPal hasn't been supported in Managed Payments since last year. Only a small percentage of sellers are in the MP program at this time, but it is in the process of rolling out for more sellers. That would explain why a credit card worked and not PayPal.
Then again, maybe they are having trouble getting it to work right.
