They have been tinkering with labels and the first option with the big blue dot is likely NOT the service the buyer paid for. I had labels with FedEx "selected" (which I don't ever offer) when item was actually sold shipping Priority Mail, and light weight First Class items where eBay has put PM at the top of the labels list with a big blue dot. If you aren't watching what is going on you could be shipping via a method that your customer did not pay you for.

Yes! Yes! I got the shock of my life when my 4 oz. item was going to cost over $7.00 to ship.
Luckily, I was paying attention before I hit the print button.
Also watch your inventory carefully.
I recently sold 3 different items of which I had only one. I then discovered they were still listed
as available for sale.
Bring on those cancellations!

Also be careful if you switch to the proper method/cost and then change the ship-to date. That throws it back to the wrong method again, so don't hit purchase quickly.

I was printing labels about 7pm last night and noticed for the first time that the ship date hadn't turned over to the next day like I was used to seeing after 4pm Pacific. During covid times I've been mostly printing the morning I'm shipping, so I don't know if the next day's ship date not showing later in the day is new or if that just started. I didn't specifically notice the shipping revert to the wrong method, but my differences were obvious enough (FedEx which I never use, and PM on very light weight items) that I might have just made the change again without thinking about it. Thanks for the additional heads up!

Same here, three first class and one media mail package were being charged as Priority mail until I changed it. More money for ebay if we pay more for shipping! Sellers...Beware!

It is ridiculous that these problems are happening but I don't see how ebay gets more money if you use a service that you didn't have in your listing. You pay fvf on the shipping the buyer paid...not on the amount of the shipping label.
