Partial refund of shipping payment?

How do I refund a partial payment of a buyer's shipping cost?  The actual weight was incorrect in the listing, so the buyer paid more than he should have.  How do I correct his overpayment?  His payment doesn't show up in Paypal, so I am not able to refund it there.  What is the current process for this?

You're in Managed Payments so it's alot easier..........just go to the item in sold/shipped and click on the down arrow........there will be a choice to refund down near the bottom......click on that and you can make a partial refund there.
