Hi everyone,
I have been selling with eBay for about 15 years, although I did take a couple of years off. I'm now back and trying to sell my items, with frustration. I've tried every format available to sellers and can't seem to get many bites. I did sell one set of 10 glasses and I seem to be getting quite a few views but previously I feel I had more frequent sales than I am now. I have had most of my items listed for MONTHS. Does anyone have any suggestions to move my sales along? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

The tiny house movement doesn't help either, though I love them. I also collect glass and dread the fact that my estate will most likely end up in dumpsters. Rare books, Art pottery, paintings and prints, silver, glass, crystal, dishes, rugs, etc...vinyl records, vintage menus, you name it if I liked it I bought a lot.
But if you live in a tiny house...and that's a huge trend, there is no room for any of that. Maybe a few postcards, or a binder of stamps....
I'll be 70 years old today...yay, never thought I would live this long being a wild child of the Sixties. Singer/songwriter, fiction (horror) writer, poet, crafter, dreamer. Thank goodness that I had a child who snapped me into reality. And was able to get a really good job to take care of us both.
Happy Birthday to me, and stay safe everyone. (Really not trying to hijack the thread, just feeling lonely.)
Good luck to the OP, and all of us sellers. We are gearing up to get back to the Flea Markets. Just hoping another wave of CVD doesn't hit us.

If you have things on hand to sell that is one issue in your favor
Just do not go out and "go crazy" investing/buying merchandise to re-sell,this is not a good time,no matter what anyone says, the stable buyers just aren't here anymore, mainly the problematic buyers exist
Too many buyers are used to calling e-bay and claiming there is something wrong with their purchase and receive a refund, many buyers are now just"playing the system",that is what caused so many sellers to leave
The policies are in the buyers favor and not for the seller
Just be very cautious and aware in handling yourself as a seller

@1208west I would keep listing - there are too few items, really, to be 'found' on a site with over a billion listings, and thousands upon thousands in collectibles. You've got nice items and good photos - but every marketplace rewards activity, so try to list several items daily or every other day and get your numbers up - the more variety you have, the more chances of snagging a buyer.
