I have always used Picassa in the past for scans. It gave me crystal clear scans, was easy to use. I installed a new operating system on my computer and lost Picassa. I downloaded Picassa from the internet. I have been having problems ever since with blurry scans, sometimes blurry sometimes not, seems the more I scan the worse they are. I have tried multiple programs and either I can't figure them out or in the case of naps ,crystal clear scan but would only show a partial page. I have spent 4 full days searching and trying out programs to try to find something to replace Picassa. The problem is not my scanner, I thought perhaps it was the size of file my scanner was producing and the compression needed that was causing blurry scans. Twain is not working correctly on my computer, I have tried Windows fax and scan and after 6 or 7 scans pictures are blurry again. I'm at a loss and need to scan images that are better quality, If someone had the original copy of Picassa and wanted to make a copy to list on Ebay for sale I would be more then happy to purchase. (as long as it is not too expensive). If someone with knowledge of how to get my scans to stop being blurry, would reply I would appreciate the help. I've tried Paint but there is no straighten tool. I would appreciate any information, help, or someone putting an original Picassa disk up for sale. thank you

Google discontinued Picasa itself but moved to whole process to google photos I believe. You should be able to find it there. Here is an article from ny times on what to do and what's good to use after Picasa
