PAYPAL

I was going to begin selling again, BUT I do NOT like not having the PayPal option.  I just refuse to share my bank account information wherein eBay has access to debit as they choose.  I'm guessing Facebook market place is the best option for me.

Re: PAYPAL

Other sites don't have the number of potential buyers, but maybe less is more. Less fees, less government intrusion, less access to your personal information. I have used the one you mentioned after my selling account was suspended for failure to provide "requested" information. I have to be more careful in what I buy now, as profit margins aren't real great when it's time to pass an item along. I miss paypal.

Re: PAYPAL

PayPal is no longer part of eBay as payment option. They newly launched Payoneer as new payment method for managed payment.

Best wishes, for whatever the future holds.

Keep your options open in case you need to return.  Be safe.

Under PayPal, eBay had access to debit as they chose.

Please be careful when posting here, you have given incorrect information for the US boards, Payoneer is not an option here @stku-79

Re: PAYPAL

I'd rather make a sale here with MPs than not make a sale with PP

MY 3 accounts have been in MPs   12,  11, and 5 months without issue,

Re: PAYPAL

Curious here.....What do you have to provide to MP that you did not have to provide to PP.   Both platforms need a bank account to deposit your funds into.

Re: PAYPAL

With all the listings on FB Market page that include online payments and shipping, it will only be a matter of time till they require the same information as the rest of the online marketplaces and charge fees, which in some areas I think they do now. Enjoy while you can!

Re: PAYPAL

"PayPal is no longer part of eBay as payment option."

PayPal is still a payment option, even if the seller you are buying from is on managed payments. A seller on MP just cannot receive funds via PayPal.

A bank account has never been required to use Paypal. Many people use(d) it as an electronic wallet.

And not everyone was forced to provide a Social Security number to Paypal either.
