Can anybody help please: I have a payment on hold even though the buyer acknowledges they received the parcel and submitted positive feedback. I believe it might be because I issued a tracking number via ebay that was not actually used at the time of USPS mailing, and I no longer have the tracking number. Is there any way to resolve this with eBay, without a tracking number available, in order to release the payment hold? My account has been verified with my bank and I have registered already as a seller.
Thank you,
First time seller

More likely it's because you are a new seller
What do you mean "I no longer have the tracking number"? If you are unable to provide a tracking number, most likely you will have to wait the maximum hold time for new sellers, whatever that may be.
You can see when the hold is set to be released in your "payouts" section.

Since you're a new seller, they can hold the funds for 30 days.
Not much you can do but wait until the hold is released.

Hi @rezbekistan
-eBay works on valid tracking numbers. If you print your labels through eBay tracking is automatically uploaded to the transaction PLUS you get a shipping discount on your labels to help offset eBay fees.
-New or low activity Selling accounts can have their Funds held for 30 days: Payments on hold | eBay
-You have nothing else for sale. Are you planning to sell more?

Thank you all so much for the replies! I did not understand that there was a home for new sellers. I do plan to sell more but this was my first sale and that’s also why I messed up the tracking label by using my own number at the USPS.

You are more than welcome ... and yes, it's easy to sign up to sell on eBay but then one has to get the details worked out so they know what they are doing. You are ALWAYS encouraged to ask questions here regardless of how simply you may think they are.
