Out of stock option

This may seem like a stupid question, but I usually deal in one-offs and rarely have bulk listings.

If I turn on the OOS option, that only applies to the bulk listings, right? My single quantity listings won't be affected?  They'll just end normally when something sells, right? And the bulk listings will hide from view until I add more?

I hope this makes sense....

Out of stock option

I just wanted to add that I tested the Out of Stock feature by creating a listing with zero inventory and let it sit. eBay says 180 days, but that is the minimum. eBay ended that listing on the same calendar day it was listed (started on Oct 01, ended Apr 01) at the same UTC time that it was listed, so it ran for 182 days.  It is still visible in my Ended listings two months later, and I expect to see it there for the full 90 days (or perhaps calendar months, until Jul 01) . So the Out of stock feature can provide up to nine months of seasonal archiving.
