Item Specifics: Required Soon

More busywork, thanks Ebay. I have 145 listings out of around 900 that need to be edited to fill in required item specifics.  I have until July though, yay.

I just posted a similar. 

Shoppers know what they are looking for!

They can read the description in the body of the listing!

They can ask questions before bidding or buying!

Item specifics are so overlapped / duplicated! Ridiculous!

Posted Thai to another thread as well. 

I stopped trying to fix my listings a couple of days ago. One of my required item specifics is: Species… for an action figure. 

Species. I kid you not. 

I figure I will wait and see if they fix the issues before trying again

Try height, length, and width of a book...just to make sure it fits the buyer!  I would hate to see that return!

Same here. A redundant waste of time. I now have to go through over 200 items (LPs) to REPEAT that it is a record (in format) and add album title (which is ALREADY in the heading)?!? What then is the point of using their categories list (Music > Vinyl Records) in the first place? 

Ebay is making it harder for small sellers - first the managed payment **bleep** and now this...it's turning into a full time job. After 20 years active, I am seriously reassessing my entire reason for being on here. Too much work for so little gain.

or Recommended? 

Required must be filled out.

Recommended can be ignored if you'd like.

We have started with 2500 listings out of 7600 that need to have item specifics added.     What frosts me is that they are requesting that we fill in "Book Title."    We already have an Item Specific field called "Title."   

That field is from their own template when we entered the books.

What some paid employee at Ebay can't write a program to merge these two fields or copy the content from one to the other?    Why do we have to do the double work? 

What it means of course since we are under the gun to complete this we have stopped entering any new books onto ebay!
