Not if you're planning to sell here, no. But your best strategy would be to set up a free checking account not linked to your current one, thus keeping your business sales isolated from your family finances. It also makes the tax bookkeeping a lot simpler when doing your returns next year.

NOPE this is the only way now ...PayPal is no longer the payment processor for USA sellers as well as many other countries now that have been transitioned into eBay's Managed payment system. If you want to be a seller here you must provide the proper banking details as required. A checking account is required if you want to be a seller on eBay. You can open a bank account specifically for eBay selling so that it is not connected to your personal finances. This is generally a very easy process.

There are none. The only alternative is to stop selling here.

Long answer.....If you ask eBay directly is No. Ebay's procedure for receiving payment going forward.
As a side note this is a user to user help area. eBay staff stops in from time to time but with limited engagement.

I use a Wal-mart Green dot card account and it works just fine. It's separate from my personal account and used only for ebay transactions and payments. You can order one on-line.

The OP doesn't really need an answer from "eBay staff". Several responders have given complete and accurate answers.
Most sellers here, I believe, have (as recommended) opened a separate checking account specifically for their eBay receipts.

Interesting! You are the 2nd person to mention this. Glad there is an alternative!

Apologies. Only known option in Canada is a chequeing (checking) account. And many sellers (considering how long MP has been up and running) are still having major issues getting paid for the first time. Or were getting paid to have that suddenly stop. Unfortunately all eBay sites do not work exactly the same. Like they say....Mileage may vary. 🙂

Yes, for many years. Plus I get points and perks for using it. I also have a separate account for the other selling platforms I use. Works out great. No problems.
