Ordering items from Home Depot, etc

It's bad enough that I get items shipped to me from Amazon when I can order for myself.  But it is even worse when a seller orders an item from Home Depot when we have a Home Depot here and I have an account with them.  My store had 7 of these items for about 3 bucks less when I checked and I go by our store once or twice a week.

Sellers need to disclose where they are getting these items from so we can save a few bucks and either go to that store or order online ourselves.  And these sellers wonder why I don't leave feedback.   They don't need to be bombarding my email begging me to give them 5 star feedback either.

No - a seller does not need to disclose where they got their product from.. not in that sense. If you're too lazy to do your own research and not find the best price then that's on you lol. That's literally what business is.

Re: Ordering items from Home Depot, etc

Drop ship has about ruined eBay and amazon. These so called sellers have no inventory or money out of there pocket.  They list the item then use your money to buy it online and have it shipped to you. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. If you don't have it don't sell it. Other than that Japan and china have also about ruined these web sites. We can't compete with there prices  and they take up page after page of listing that keeps yours from showing and Amazon you can't compete with same day delivery. The end is not far away. Been on E bay 14 years and amazon 10 and my sales keep going down and the fees keep going up. It's all about the money.

This thread is from June. I doubt the people are going to comment.

Retail Arbitrage is where you sell something here then purchase it elsewhere to ship to the buyer. It is against Ebay dropshipping rules. So while no seller has to reveal their sources, if it's against Ebay rules the buyers should be reporting the listings.

Re: Ordering items from Home Depot, etc

Her complaint is about drop shipping not that she is too lazy to go to home depot herself. I agree with her. Drop shippers ruin eBay.
