Only My Promoted Sponsored Listings Show in Search Engine and Not my Organic Listings.

Can someone help explain what is going on with my Ebay Promoted listing and how the search engine on eBay works.

I have noticed that when I search the exact item number for a promoted listing of mine in eBay only the sponsored listing will appear in eBay but the organic listing is nowhere to be found in the search results.

Here is a listing example. Item # 154103161185. If I search for this item in the search bar or I enter the exact Title Only the promoted listing will display.  The organic result is hidden.

70% of my sales in the past month are promoted listings sales and it seems that most of my organic listings are being hidden. Is this how this is designed to work? This seems somewhat unethical on ebay's part and against the terms of agreements but I would like further clarification on this issue.

Thank you

Sometimes the item doesn't meet whatever criteria to make it show up under Best Match. Could be how it's indexed, your history, ratings, distance, etc. Whereas the promo listing will show up under that search and possibly searches that are for something else.

If you select order by price, you'll probably see it.

no ... I am the only listing for a part number VU0600-X00000120 on sale for $5499.  If you search for that specific partnumnber only a sponsord listing shows.  That just seems wrong. Sponsored listing should promote your products against other products  but a direct search should show your listing not just the promoted listing
