Hello! I'm not new to online selling, but I am new to eBay. I've heard where buyers can send messages along with their offers asking for free shipping and such. Are the messages (if one is sent) obvious on the offer? I've received an offer, and just want to make sure that I'm not somehow missing a message asking for free shipping when the listing clearly states the buyer pays for shipping. Thanks!

Buyers can message the seller and say anything, but it is not binding. The offer is binding. The offer is about the sales price only and your stated shipping cost does not change.  Sometimes the buyer will put a note on the offer about the shipping, etc.  But,  the offer price is sales price.
