Offers Expired Without Notification

I checked a couple of my items and noticed that they had received multiple offers from separate accounts, but the offers had expired. The thing is I was never notified that I’d received any offers. I did not offer international shipping in the listing, so is eBay not notifying me of these offers because they are from international buyers? Or is eBay detecting some issues with those accounts? (One item received three offers of the same amount from separate accounts and the second received two offers of the same amount from different accounts.)

Have you checked to see if the emails are going in your spam folder?  

Do you see them in your My Messages on Ebay?

Do you have any perimeters for offers set up on your listings, like minimums?

No messages in my spam. I’ve received offers on other items and sold them since and I have been notified without a problem. I also did not receive messages through eBay. 

I do have minimum offer specifications on my listings, but the offers were well within the limit I had set.

Very interesting and certainly concerning to be sure.  Something you certainly need answers for as it is absolutely impacting your ability to sell your stuff.

Clarification please on what may be causing this issue for this member.

Are you sure these offers aren’t the ones you sent out? Since they are the same amount it makes me think that’s a possibility.

I hadn’t thought of that. That could be the case. Do you know if expired offers that sellers send out are registered under the “completed” tab?

In SH it shows offers under the action tab. I’m not sure what tab your referring too. Perhaps someone here will know.

I went to my Active Listings and scrolled down to an item that showed  REVIEW ALL OFFERS.  I saw that my offer of a $2.00 discount was Declined/Expired to 4 different buyers.  Item eventually sold for the full BIN price.

Hi @russ-gibs - were the offers you'd sent on these 'Seller Initiated Offers' to watchers or private offers you sent in eBay messages if folks had asked you a question on the item?

Hi @russ-gibs - thanks for that clarification. I've done some digging and am not able to find a 'for certain' answer on this currently. The tools I have access to confirm whether or not you received a Best Offer, counter offer, or made a 'private offer', but Seller Initiated Offers are not currently something I can verify with those tools. 

Based on what you've shared, I have to agree with others that this appears to be a record of offers you initiated to watchers that timed out. Thanks!
