Hey there. As I said in the title, eBay is showing in my notification tab that I have 4 items to ship but when I click into the shipping tab it says I only have 3 items. This has been happening for a few days when I go to ship it always says I have an extra item in notifications...Anyone else have this issue? I want to make sure I'm not missing anything so I can't get penalized for not shipping something on time. Should I call in the issue you think? Or is it common and not a big deal? Any advice, would be appreciated. 🙂

The bell has pretty much been off and on as far as accuracy for me. I don't seem to end up missing anything because of it.

Was one order for multiple items? Often I have noticed that the bell notifications will reflect the total number of items sold rather than the number of orders to ship.

For me, I only go by what it says in the Seller Hub. While I get the email notifications I will not depend on them to tell me when I have a sale. Now would I depend on the notification bell. That is certain to be a problem at some point.

Just use your Seller Hub, that is the best and safest way to manage your sales. You can customize your Seller Hub so the boxes are in the order in which you use them the most.

When I see one that has already shipped that is in awaiting shipping, it shows the tracking number. Just a matter of time before it moves to shipped.

That is a buggy booger.

I had the same thing happen to me. Someone had purchased the wrong item and ask for a refund and then purchased the correct item. The seller page showed the wrong item and the notification showed the correct item. Again, the notification showed 4 items to ship and there were only 3. Confusing. You really need to stay on top of things here. Ebay has no clue what they're doing sometimes.

Now that you mention it, I've seen that before too. However when it has happened to me, it is easily seen on the screen that the other item had shipped. As I remember it the Purchase Shipping label icon did not appear first under the order number.

There is currently flags all over the shipping screens that USPS is experiencing problems. I was however able to do all my shipping this morning through Ebay.

I rarley sell enough to have more than 2. Maybe there is a limit of only three. Cancel one out and see if the other appears.
