So I have these lamps and been looking for the perfect lamp finials for them, so I did a search for "New Lamp Finials" Still have not found my perfect match but I did notice something that I thought was strange looking at all the listings, can you find it, what do you think it is.

If you found something "strange looking" and want our opinion about it, it would be very helpful to just come out and tell us exactly what it was.
My guess is that you noticed when you search for lamp finials, it restricts the results to the "Lamp parts" category because lamp finials belong in the Lamp parts category. eBay has been doing this sort of filtering for years and years.

Is there going to be any math on this quiz?

I'll play if there is a prize.

I ran the search and actually DID notice something strange -- my search results actually ARE relevant to the search.
(Unlike most of my searches where I end up with many irrelevant results, such as clothing in the wrong size or different brand because the seller keyword spammed the name brand in item specifics and eBay won't do anything about it.)

WOW! That'd make a person want to start collecting Lamp Finials!! 🤣

Not unless you post a pic of your Search Results. How would we possibly be able to dup your exact search w/o knowing what it was beyond your KW's & also did you actually use quotes or are you just using quotes for us? It matters in search.
Sorry not taking the time to play guessing games without more info.

"Located in the United States"
Every single one (at least on the several pages I looked at), without me doing any refinements or sorting. If that's what you meant, yeah that doesn't seem right.

I like the one with the birds on the branches. How creative and original. Is that what you mean?

Is this another where's Waldo?

Ok nobody noticed it so I guess thats why ebay never sees it, all the .Com advertisements pictures I guess this is allowed now.

On the first page with 60 results, only 2 had the seller's website on their listing photos.
If you clicked on one of them then it could have flooded your search with more items from the same seller.
No, it's not permitted to put your off eBay web URL in your listing or images. They should be removed if reported, although it may take several users reporting for any action to be taken.
