Did you mean:

Not liking the new feedback system or even understanding it.

I got a negative last year and it came 48 days after the order was delivered.  I tried reaching out to the buyer to revise it but no response.  I did my research and as best as I can tell he purchased it as a gift.  He may have even switched the address to where it was going.  I'm not privy to that.  I described the item as sold as picture or as is and that I did not know whether all the parts were included or if it operated(some cheap motor that made it vibrate I think).  He even contradicted himself with the feedback he left.  He took his frustrations out on me longgggg after ordering.  No it's really not his 1st amendment rights to leave libelous comments.  Well if companies on google can just flag your review and get your ISP banned for spam then something is truly wrong and backwards with Ebay.  They're not protecting sellers and encouraging buyers to leave feedback in conjunction with this ridiculous misinformed mobile buyer push is just asking for more negatives not less or more feedback extortion.  The new listing tool is full of flaws too,  it's omitting shipping container parameters. I really don't think a buyer should be allowed to leave a negative 48 days later.  That's entirely not fair.  That one negative dropped my feedback significantly along with my sales. I really did nothing wrong.  People need to stop and think of how they would act in person rather than the off the cuff way they act online.  I had been regularly getting sales and encouraged to list back then but now I'm jaded.  No real customer service to handle negatives either.  If a seller sends a feedback revision request and does not hear back I think that negative should go bye bye.  Also people with feedback scores of less than 3 should be scrutinized more.  I like a lot of people are not a foreign dropshipper with hundreds of thousands of sales.  Small sellers need more protection.

Buyers have 60 days after purchase to leave feedback. Feedback is never changed by ebay unless the buyer has stated something that is derogatory, talks about getting ebay involved, cusses etc. It's all laid out in the Policies and has been this way for 20+ years.

Nothing will change the ability for someone (the general public) to give negative feedback if it their opinion. This has ALWAYS been the way it is with ANY business. Yelp is full of review that are NOT changeable and for the most part, ask the store owner, are not accurate. But if reviews showed nothing but nice nice for all everywhere, the review in and of itself becomes worthless.

That is why feedback is no longer a measureable that ebay uses to measure sellers.

What new feedback system, it hasn't been changed for awhile.

Buyers and sellers have 60 days to leave feedback.

Have a great day.

Yelp and google are two different things and the internet in general is full of fake reviews.  Ebay deletes feedback.  Trust me they do it all the time.  They used to do it more when they had customer service in US.  ahhhh feedback is often how buyers measure a seller.  Oh and ebay wasn't measuring it why are they promoting it in search results on their site?  Oh and I see derogatory reviews all the time.  People acting like this is a video game actually hurt sales of domestic sellers.  Most of us who ship our own items are not that big that we can absorb video game punishment.

What is this new feedback system you speak of?

Yelp and Google are NOT 2 different things; they all have things to say about people's business and you will always find someone that is not happy about something.

Ebay does NOT change feedback all the time (what- 1% of 1% of 1% of the top sellers get 'negs' removed because they earned it, or violating verbiage in a feedback if a recipient complains)

Find me one recipient of a negative feedback, on line, yelp, google, here etc. that says "yeah, that's true". Will never happen. It's just dealing with the public.

Complaining about these systems is equivalent to complaining about dust in the air on a windy day. Best to focus your energies elsewhere because there is not anything that can be done about it.

If by "new," you mean the change from 80 characters to 500, allowing long-winded feedback, I agree.   The ability of both buyers and sellers to maunder on about transactions is a waste of bandwith (as we dinosaurs still like to say).
