Not as Described Scammer Attack Run four the hills. LOL!

So today we get a customer who messages us. “Hi There, This ring I bought from you has no 10k stamp on it can I return it” So, this is not the first time this particular customer has alerted us to our alleged discrepancy making false claims. I refer them to our photo’s that clearly show the 10k mark on the ring. Let’s be clear here that we have been selling here for over 15 years and with nothing but outstanding customer ratings. The buyer was told that this was the last time they will be purchasing anything from us. Oh course we blocked and reported as well, and of course we accept the return and pay for the return to us. You get people like this on here and you realize just how much RISK you take on here on a daily basis. People who would do anything to help destroy your rep on here and that is just not going to happen to us if we can help it.

You know Don, I wonder as well with this economy being the way it is how many more of these scam bugs are going to  be prowling on websites doing this to an even greater extent. It’s fairly scary.

@vintagecraze50

When you have the "how to scam sellers?" all over the internet, people making videos to show them how to steal on the internet and more people trying it out for size,  this is the risk we do take as sellers gets worse.  All we can do is what you did...you had proof to back it up that their claim was false and they knew it.  Good for you.

I need to expand on this post to say that the buyer contacted me again and said “sorry, I saw something on the ring marked inside but not sure what it said”, So in my panic I might be getting a scam mode, I may have over responded. One needs to be careful of this. The buyer may need a loupe or at least a pair of good reading glasses to see these tiny hallmarks even when my pictures look gigantic and clear and because it takes me sometimes six hundred camera shoots before I can get it to show up properly on the picture. LOL!

It has been worse ever since the pandemic started. Folks have been staying home, not working and not returning to work when called back.  Unfortunately,  a certain percentage have decided to steal for a living as fostered by this government's administration. It is gonna get worse before it gets better if it ever does.  Pitiful.

The buyer is full of it... this is along the same lines of a buyer telling me they didn't have their item because there was no delivery scan. I called their post office and they updated the scan, retroactive to when the package was delivered. A few hours later I got some long winded tail about what happened to their package and why they didn't have it. I don't buy that, I buy they got caught and are looking for a way to bow out gracefully. They still got the BBL here.

Yeah Don, it is hard to say as to whether my scam counter attack made the buyer say what they said after the fact I pointed out the hallmark in the photo’s. I may never know. So, it’s probably good to call some folks out on their statements at times.
