Is it me or the amount of non paying bidders is growing and growing? Im 4 for 5 now in my auctions for people who bid and win and message me that they dont want to pay. Or they just flat out dont pay with no response.

How the heck do I get rid of these losers? Complete waste of time having to go through a week waiting for auction to end only to have the winner not pay.

List fixed price with immediate payment required. Do not use auctions- do not accept best offers. That's the only way to completely eliminate non-payers.

This happens when selling non necessities, perhaps buyer realizes that they can live comfortably without your item after they win, now realizing that the item isn't at a bargain price & may have bid too much to own it.

I hear you! It's almost like it's about "WINNING" and no longer about "WANTING" the item. I have watched it go back and forth between 2 Buyers (almost like angry and they are just trying to out do one another.) So frustrating! Set your account to where you don't except Buyers with less than (hower many you want) feedback. and block bidders with one strike against them.

Not fool proof but can weed some of the DEAD BEAT NON PAYING Bidders.

If you continue to get Non Paying Bidders ( Block Every Single One of Them ) and Dont Hesitate !! I have More Blocked Bidders/Buyers than You Would Probably Believe !! I Don't Play 😎

It IS against policy to leave a negative comment for a buyer. Not to mention they are a hypocrite for expecting others to follow the rules while they happily break them. It’s also a board violation to suggest people do something that is against eBay rules.

we have seen a few sellers in the forums who were suspended for this behavior. Not nearly enough IMHO.

Furthermore many good buyers will not buy from sellers who believe the rules only apply to others.

As dog said - the poster is cooking his own goose and will soon find himself searching for another venue to sell on if even 1 buyer/bidder reports him. Plus how many legitimate buyers are turned away due to the comments that know the rules and figure the seller would be hard to deal with if they did have a problem?
