Why can members not shame non payers, non contactors etc by leaving negative feedback? Will we offend somebody, or have we gone PC mad like the rest of the country?

Why would you want to & who would benefit from leaving a negative for a non payer?

Don't quite understand your reply. I'm a baby boomer and was brought up to respect other people and their decisions

Sorry, just read it again, too many Great Northerns. I would want to so that nobody else has to pay ebay fees due to some **bleep**er who didn't get permission off his/her mum to buy something. So other ebayers are forewarned when they get a bid off said offenders,

" So other ebayers are forewarned when they get a bid off said offenders,"
You don't pay fees if you open & close the UPI.
If "said offenders" sniped the auction in the last second what would you do then?
I find that the BBL & setting preferences to block all those with 2 or more UPI srikes in a 12 month period are far more effective tools.
Btw I'm enjoying the company of a fellow Aussie on eBay.com
I have Great Northern on tap in my pub...it's really taken off.

"but what of those who haven't?"
Sellers who don't use the UPI or BBL are part of the problem in enabling serial non payers.
Negative feedback will not stop a non payer from doing it to others.
"Agree to disagree?"
Yeh why not.
Best regards.

Negtive feed back does NOT stop a bidder from bidding in the last seconds of the aution , that is why !
