I am aware that sales have been down or even NIL for a lot of people here but no views?
Is it me on how I present my items? Items not interesting enough?
I'm hoping it's a just a glitch which is about to be fixed soon.
Anyone else having the same problem?

For the past 2 weeks many of my items show 0 views. I know this is the slow times for me, but never this slow. It was said that the first view on the counter was a bot count, showing it was picked up by the computers. So to me my items were never indexed and can not bee seen. Other sellers state they have a watchers and no views, so something must be messed up.
I have no clue how computers operate, I ask my husband when something is wonky.

I think this could be a glitch in the indexing on the site. Hopefully it will pass quickly.
One suggestion, add US sizes to your listings. This could give you a little boost in sales to the US.

Last night all of my listings said zero views on another ID. Today they are all back to normal and some with 100's of views. 0 Sales for 4 days now though, so they are definately messing with serious stuff. No site can make big changes without shutting down servers and Ebay does it constantly.

I might have some answers for you. Your listings and everyone else's are predetermined on this site. If you don't believe that then there actually when I was on facebook a group called former ebay sellers. THey had to have two different discussions.
In one was a list about what ebay really does to mess with sellers. SO, technically it's not your fault. It's ebay. How about giving the other competition a try. If one site doesn't then maybe try other avenues.

Hi, all. It IS an off and on glitch for the past few weeks. I have had views & watchers show with no problem since the glitch was reported and was thankful it wasn't affecting me. BUT I spoke too soon. This morning I, too, now have 0 for views whereas yesterday I had multiple views. The watchers have remained, but no views. In all my years here, I have never had a view at 0 cause at least one view or two are bots and indexing. Not sure if not putting US sizes/measurements in a listing would cause 0 views, but good idea anyway.

I posted about this several weeks ago, wondering if they've changed something with the indexing so that the usual 1-2 bot views that appear almost instantly have vanished. Today I see a "-" (dash) as the number of views on many of my listings that wasn't there yesterday.

Something is off with the views if an item can have a watcher but no views.
And the seller is not watching the item.

@abfabvintage I just added the thing about us sizes as an aside. Had nothing to do with 0 views, That's jsut eBay being the mess it is right now.
I was just thinking, as I looked over the OP's listings that adding US sizes may give a small boost in sales overall. I know, if I don't see US sizes, I don't even bother to try to figure it out and just moveon to someone who does list US sizes.

More important than views-- how do this month's sales compare to your sales in June 2017 ? In June 2016?
I looked at my annual sales graphs on Paypal, which I just discovered, and they confirmed that June is not a good month for me, but January-March and August-October have been consistently busy.
Something I knew from my casual observations since 2001. Nice to have it confirmed.

Every single month of every single year, you will see long threads from sellers moaning about poor sales.
Frankly it's a man bites dog situation.
If sales are good, you don't post to say so.
If sales are off, you look for sympathy.
Don't take those posts too seriously.
Asking for a critique of your listings while things are slow can be very helpful.
Just selling from Bahrain may be part of the problem.

1. You don't have "buy it now" on any of your listings, they're just auctions. I can see this being a huge turn-off to a younger, more impatient user.
2. As someone else noted, you don't have the size in your listing title.

There has to be some sort of glitch. I have two listings with bids and a watcher but showing no views. How could that even be possible? I have a few other listings that I know showed views at one time and now they do not. The views seem to have all disappeared. Something is wrong.

No views = known ebay glitch.
For some it is just resetting each day.
But as another poster pointed out, when I am scrolling down the new list, if all the pertinent info is not there, I just scroll right on past you.
