I had a previous eBay a few months ago and would get 10-40 views a day. I started a new eBay with a diff email and selling same items (some literally the same), same promo rate 11-14 percent, and even cheaper and am getting NO views. I'm selling in demand things like new balance, coach, adidas, nike etc. is this some type of glitch? I may try deleting listing and listing again. I don't have access to the old account so can't log back in. I plan to call customer service tomorrow.

You will not get any answers from customer service, which are likely to be correct.
Your listings can be seen.
A few months ago is not the same as now. Buyer behavior is different,
You are offering a small number of items, many of which might not get any views because you are looking for buyers who want a specific size.
The are plenty of sellers of clothing and decorative items who see they are in a slow period.

Promoting your item does not guarantee views.
Interest in your item will get you views.

I wouldn't use the word "garbage" in a title.
And using AI for descriptions is a turn off for many customers.
I would mistrust a description that says the body of that Koret purse is patent leather (plastic) while the lining is leather (the real thing), especially since the photo shows a printed fabric lining.
Good photos.

When you say "NO views" do you mean extremely few on only some listings, or literally zero on any listings?

I don't have access to the old account so can't log back in.
If you forgot the password, you can arrange to have it changed.
Or were you running it in partnership and the other partner now has control of the account?
Or was it 'poisoned' with bad feedback or by Defects?

Patent leather is leather -- it's just coated with plastic or lacquer.
But the Item Specifics should describe the lining as fabric and the bag itself as patent leather.

I remember my "patent leather " mary janes, more than 60 years ago.
They might have included some animal skin in the formula, but they were backed with fabric and topped with plastic. Purchased for Easter, they were cracked and unrepairable by September and I needed new shoes for school.
A later pair of patent shoes, purchased to go with the minidress my sister bought me on Carnaby Street, were bright yellow and undoubtedly what the kids today would call "vegan".
Around the same time I was in NYC and bought a pair of purple patent leather shoes -- also plastic.

As others have stated, the market isn’t the same now as a few months ago. It is/will be, ever changing. Serious sellers stay on top of this by doing their research and not just guessing about any given item.
Looking at a few of your items, think you’re doing a good job with photos, but your titles need work! Coach shoes size 8 … too short! Use as many keywords, related to your item as possible! The description for these shoes also, yikes. Pattern, color, style, flaws, etc.?!
Please don’t rely on AI for your descriptions. It’s your item, in your hand, your true description is hands down better than any AI! Personally I quickly will back out of any item I’m interested in if I see AI anything.
Also see you don’t accept returns. Do you shop anywhere where you are unable to return an item if it doesn’t fit or isn’t exactly what you needed? 🤔 I’ve found that accepting returns gives people more confidence in buying and it’s not as scary as you may think. If you are honest with your items, I find the few returns you may receive are also honest reasons.
I’m happy you found your way to this community! Many here are super helpful, a wealth of information, humorous, kind and MOST will definitely try their best to answer your questions.
Wishing you the absolute best!

I'm sure you meant to say "likely to be incorrect".

Why did you start a new account? You abandoned any FB you had as a seller by doing that.

In the current economic climate selling primarily used lower priced shoes and bags will not generate many sales or views. You are selling items that can be found not only on multiple on-line platforms but also, for the next 5-6 months, yard sales. Diversify your selections and try to find items that are more unique.

Hi! Thanks for this. The purse is actual leather with a coating. Patent leather was popular in back in the day. I will update to list it has fabric inside.

Some have zero views. Others have 1-2 views.

I had no idea buyers did not like the AI descriptions! I will add more key words in the titles. Thanks for your advice!
