No matter how much I do searches, my auction is not showing up! Thanks eBay!

Ok, so I have a "supposedly" live auction for a pair of old empty liquor bottles. I posted the auction several hours ago. And for the life of me, my listing is not showing when I do a search! This is so frustrating! Can anyone help me figure out why this particular listing won't show up when searched for title keywords? I realize I am selling EMPTY liquor bottles, but is there like some kind of waiting period for eBay to pre-approve collectible liquor bottles to make sure sellers aren't trying to sell alcohol???

Sometimes "hours" is not enough time.  Typically, if they are going to show it at all, it will be visible at least after 24.  Keep in mind, according to the User Agreement, they don't have to show it at all.

Yes that could be why there is a delay.  But listings can take up to 24 hours to show up.

Makes sense. ImI so used to my listings show up within minutes and in the several years I've been on eBay I've never had a single listing NOT show up within a few minutes.

You've been lucky then, Ive had mine take twenty four hours to index.

If you've had views on your new listings right away, it could just be your items are showing up in buyers searches.

If you recently listed an item or revised a listing, it might not appear immediately when you search or browse. Although listings are generally searchable within 24 hours, to help make eBay a safe place to buy and sell, there are times when this might take longer.
