No longer able to include description when searching in ebay store?

The ebay store page has been updated and brings back search features that were gone for while, which is appreciated. But searching for words in the description doesn't work anymore and I'm not seeing any "include description" option. This is extremely inconvenient for me because I put tiny item codes in my descriptions so I can look up my items, and I'm no longer able to do that unless I search all of ebay, which obviously is not ideal. Am I missing something or is there an alternative?

There is a way to search descriptions in sellers' stores, but it's not on the page one would expect . . .

When you first go to a seller's store page, the option to search the description is not there; however, if you actually perform even a one-word search, the results page (for lack of a better term) will include the check box for searching the description. 

So--here's the search bar for a store I popped into at random:

So I just randomly searched for "Christmas," and here's the search bar on the results page:

You can see that the "Include description" check box shows up under the "Search" button on the results page.

Hate to bring up an old post but I'm having this exact same problem and the posted solution no longer works.

The option to search descriptions no longer appears on the store page or the standard "items for sale" page using the link in the seller's listing.

You can get to this option by going to the Advanced Search page and performing a search by seller username. A page of the seller's items will be displayed with the option to search item descriptions.
