No longer able to filter by SKU and sort by SKU not in order?

This morning I noticed that the ability to search my active listings by Custom Label/SKU is gone. Is that a new change or a glitch?

Also, in my active listings if I try to sort by SKU it does not arrange in order. I use box numbers in the SKU and it comes up as 10 2 5 6 20 7 instead of all the same number in order.

- You can search by Custom label (SKU). Just enter your term in the search box above your listings and click enter.

- You cannot search by Custom label (SKU) for variations due to a system bug. eBay has been notified and I hope they will fix it soon.

- Sorting the column Custom label (SKU) is not presenting errors for me. Only the 20 is out of order in your example. I was going to ask if it's possible you have a space in front of the number 20 since that's the only one out of order, but that would not explain why it's appearing between 6 and 7.

I suggest sorting by a different column then go back to sort by SKU and if something is out of order, come back and post a screenshot - maybe we'll spot something weird with it.

Also, if you want 10 to appear after 2 5 6 7, you would have to enter those as 02 05 06 07 which would then be followed by 10 and hopefully 20.

On my active listings page I see "Search by title, Sku or item number" but searching it does not work. If I search 1 for all item in box 1, I get all sorts of other items without the number 1 in it. I can click the little gear by it and a drop box appears but that it only search by description.

The sort results was just an example, most of my boxes have 50+ items in them and none of it is sorting right, sometimes there are some 1s in a row, then a 5, then a 20, then 2 and then more 1s. It is all messed up, I had to search over 3 pages with 200 items each to find 5 items I moved from box 12 to box 11 this morning.

OK, I see what you're saying. I was just discussing this frustration with another seller recently.

The search box is not recognizing "partial" search terms.

For example, if you search "shirt" it will pull in items with "shirt" - it won't even recognize "shirts" (plural).

This is another bug, and I've reported it to eBay a couple times. I'm hoping they will fix it. But for now you're not going to get results for 1 unless there's a stand-alone 1 in the title or SKU.
