No business. What is going on?

Well, I was pretty annoyed you’d claim it was “easy” to find cheaper.

I really think there are serious issues with their algorithm.  I believe its way too hypersensitive weighted on some factors and way under weighted on others and because of this  you dont get steady rises or declines but very volatile exposure rates fluctuating between really high, then then next day or two, dead days.

All it seems to react to, and often hyper react to, is daily changes.  Your history is not weighted as heavily.  Should be the other way round.  Little fluctuations in listings  should not cause a large decrease in impressions.  Especially if longer term factors like listings increasing over time, sales increasing over time, showing long term steady progress are occurring.  Especially if you are top rated as well.

But thats not what I experience.  If you miss a day of listings due to other issues the algodithm hammers you and greatly decreases your impressions.

Sigh. That is not over 6.

You claimed you payed over 6 and it was over 6 'all over'.

Would you mind backing that up? It's just information and should be trivially easy to do. It's a claim you made and information that is quite relevant to shipping and inflation costs.

Thank you.

Depending on what state you live in, government makes more off a gallon of gas than the company making the gas does.

LOL, do you know what an average is, how it’s calculated?

Sure, dude, I’ll just hop in my car, drive around, take pics, and post them here specially for you.

😂😂😂😂😂

I didn't make the claim. Since you can't back it up, I am going to assume it was hyperbole.

@espresso_warehouse

Again, do you know how an “average” is calculated?

Go ahead, answer the question.

Because at this point you’re embarrassing yourself.

And, really, this is just sport for you - isn’t it?

Hi everyone,

This thread is getting a bit heated and off-topic. Please remember that, while it is fine to disagree with others, discussion should always remain courteous and respectful. Please bring the discussion back to subject established in the original post.

Hope it keeps up for you.  I used to think 8 sales in a week was lousy.  I have had 7 sales since Mar. 5.  Plan on using eBay a lot less; especially since the postal system has enforced stricter cross-border shipping.  Anything considered "goods", no matter how small, has to be mailed (from Canada to the US) as a small packet with $8 minimum charge.  This does not include tracking. Unless they are valuable, forget about mailing sports cards, patches, pins, buttons, t-shirts, etc.  I eliminated half of my listings.  Losing the chance a Canadian will buy something & mail is not an issue.

Hey there, how are your market sales going?

Online is great when it works, when it doesn't..........not so much, so I hope you are leaning more towards the markets if that is where the money is - good luck with it 🙂

ebay has an ever shrinking market share so this is a predetermined outcome until that rebounds. I do hope it changes, good to be optimistic but yeah. It's better to be realistic.

Thank you!  Sundays have been great.  Lots of people coming out & some large markets closed in & around Toronto so people are traveling our way.  I hope to try local sales more often with marketplace.  Did very well yesterday.  Wishing the best of luck for you, also.

In the last 4 weeks, my worst Sunday was $530.  This is more than $150 over what I have sold in the first 3 WEEKS of March on eBay!
