The Yuma Police Department says 23-year-old man was apprehended Wednesday after store employees noticed a suspicious transaction and contacted police.
Police spokeswoman says the man went to return a computer from which police believe he had removed certain parts. She says investigators suspect he made a similar return that day at a different Yuma store.
Yuma Police say they also suspect the pulled the same scam at hundreds of stores over an 18-month period. Police estimate the returns cost Walmart about $1.3 million.

Are you comparing a two party transaction where buyer and seller is face to face to that of one with a 3rd party who does not see the item coming and going.

I assume you're saying[ with a hint of sarcasm ] because of e bay's new free return policy this type of thing could start happening a lot more to sellers here as well ? If so ,, probably . Sellers could not only be getting back damaged junk but now they must pay to get back the damaged junk. Then its their word against the buyers ,, meaning there is really no such thing as seller protection . tulips
