No Sales for a week?????????????? Is anybody else having this problem??

My sales are down 70% over last year at this time. I have tried everything eBay said to do and had some small success. On Sunday I sent around 60 items to auction to try and force some sales. Looks like I will sell 4 items at auction for sure, but I bet I make 1/2 of what I would normally sell for. I tried Free Shipping, offered it and then had folks low ball offer me way less for an item. Sales are so bad, I'd often time I'd have to take the offers ultimately loosing money in the long run. We can't be the only ones not making sale on eBay. eBay is trying to compete with Amazon and I don't think they can do it. They are forcing sellers to compete with Amazon by offering Free Shipping. I can't afford that. I buy and sell rare hard to find items you can't buy on Amazon, so why should I try to compete with them. Amazon can afford free shipping because they are the delivery service. Shipping has become really expensive. If I find the magic bullet I let you know, but so far, sales are bad and continue to be bad.

Have 3 accts. and sales are basically dead.

One acct is a store and may not make enough this month to pay store fees.

We are starting to put our "Eggs" in more than one basket to try and get some sales going.

This has been going on for months.

Last month, I went 11 days without a sale. Towards the end of the month, offers and sales came pouring in.

Someday ebay may come to the realization that a happy seller & happy buyer are good for ebay's future prosperity and growth.

Yes, Me too. I could maybe had sold some that was being watched but I had to end those in time before getting relisted with fees. My earrings are too low cost and with free shipping, the listing fees would cost more if they got sold. So I had to end almost all of my earrings.

I have had sales the past two 2 days but that is coming off a 30 day draught of no sales for 3 accounts - one store.  I do not know what has changed or how I finally showed back up on search.

Yep.  Each month this year has been 'worst month ever' but this month is worst, worst month ever. 

8 sales and 4 returns (color/fit, not for SNAD)   

The typical middle of the month rise in sales didn't happen.

Weekends - nothing.   

Multiple offers retracted (that's unusual)

Offers that went nowhere (BIN $45 on a $500 NWT item, buyer offered $20, I counter-offered $40, buyer counter-counter-offered $25,  I counter-counter-counter offered $35, buyer's final offer $22, I declined and blocked)   

Just a truly terrible month after multiple awful months.

My sales are down 25% from last year, and 57% from last month.  I have tried everything.  We can't compete with cheap Made in China stuff, and we don't qualify for "fast and free" even if we do free shipping because can't ship same day. Our items are handcrafted to order and heavy, so free shipping could only be done it we raise our selling prices a lot. I myself don't buy if it ships from China, but sometimes it says ships from the US then comes through customs from China anyway. This is cheating.  EBay really needs to crack down in this. It is killing the USA sellers' business.

Actually most sellers are also buyers ...

.... so if eBay upsets a seller, they also upset a buyer

.... who then goes on social media and talks about what a bad platform eBay is

.... who then influences a dozen people to avoid eBay.

Many people experience the 'summer slump' which usually happens around this time of year.   Best of luck selling.

I have been unable to get into eBay since yesterday.  Anybody know what's going on?  No answers provided from eBay either....

Sellers have been coming to this board every week for the past five years complaining of a sudden downturn in sales. You are certainly not alone, but on the other hand it is certainly not happening to everyone either.
