No Sales for Two Days !

Really Strange - No sales for two days - Sunday or Monday ?  Although I list everyday, Send offers, promote some things, price right, good pictures ???  Things were picking up first part of the month -- now nothing ?

I realize this is just a frustrated rant.  Humor me.

it's no secret, there are various other platforms one can use to sell these days, however, not all of them are like ebay where you can sell most anything, some are nitch specific like etsy for instance is mostly for craft/art/handmade related items so if your on ebay selling phone cables it's not the place to go. Some are not as popular or "safe" (organized) and it can be considered a higher risk (i.e. craigslist etc..) and some you need to be accepted before you can sell (i.e. Walmart) ... most people selling on ebay have found new or second homes of operation on Amazon, higher fees but also more sales opportunities. Just google "platforms for online sellers" or something along that line and should get a bunch of sites that reference a lot of the more common ones.

I feel your pain. I'm a small seller it's very hard trying to compete with the big box sellers and the Chinese!! 😞  If you have noticed In search they always come first. Even if you promote items it doesn't seem to help. Our items are only seen at random times. And then they disappear! POFF!! 😞

Almost 9K items on ebay 4 stores, not a single sale on the 25th, one on the 24th, hopefully the time of year and not just all the issues with ebay search, gtc, glitches, mp, general disillusionment, etc.

This is the 7th weekend out of the past 12 with no sales on any of my 4 accounts - each selling different types of items.  July was the worst July in 20 years, and August is on track to equal July's record.    And for the record neither July nor August has ever been my slowest month of any year before.   

Since I refuse to play ebay's promoted listings, free shipping, free returns, or best offer games to put more money in ebay's pockets, I don't expect September or the rest of the year to be any better.   The only thing that has kept me here are the free listing promotions - as they dry up I will  either move a lot of items elsewhere or save them for the Nov. 2nd communitywide yard sale.

You might want to research your prices a little better,  found your Pro Diver watch for sale on another site for $31.00 less than your starting bid. You also might want to do more BIN than auctions for jewelry,  remember "Impulse" buys. Auctions should be saved for rare pieces. No sales for two months calls for a reevaluation of you business plan.

People, people....stop freaking out because you haven't sold an item in two days. It's not the end of the world, yet. I heard there might be some more days coming later this week.

What if you go three days without a sale? Do you run into the middle of the road and wait for a semi to come by?  What if it misses you...then whatayagonnado?
