I am feeling the impact of eBay allowing more free listing. Maybe, I might closed my store and just be selling based on free listing. Who else is having this challenge? eBay takes subscription fee from me every month for no justifiable reason , clothing people please reply.

No, they don't, you are keeping your store (so paying fee's) for no justifiable reason. Just cancel your store subscription and your problem is solved.

Facts, I think eBay is suffering from short term plans/changes. Why cant the handlers think ahead of time and create a definite route for eBay? This will help eBay to have a clear direction. It is easy to modify your GPS if you know the address of your destination.

This is not a question of correctness, it got to do with Subscription vs value. If you subscribe for any thing and the provider did not give you value , you got the right to unsubscribe. That is likely what I'm gonna do but it tarnishes the image of such entity because they carry out strategies which undermine the services they provide, the little or no value for subscription is not by accident.

Why would I be listing more items when I am not able to sell the few which I listed? Its a no brainer that the more you list, the more work & time invested without any guarantee that you will sell. Also the more you list, the more others will list in order to compete. So eBay is solely focused on making money for herself without creating any benefits for her sellers which is very funny and strange in this social media age. I don't know whether the handlers of these strategies realize what age we are at, they feel its business as usual.
The more you list, the more you sell. I've sold clothing here for a long time and this is an inalienable fact. Even if you have some dreck in there, you will still sell more (even if not much more) - THAT is the 'no brainer'. Don't worry about what everybody else might do - you can't do anything about that, and IAC it sounds more like an excuse. Get that stuff listed, maximize your store and remember that no one is going to do it for you. And if you don't think social media is all about monetization, you haven't been paying attention.
Just keep going - summer sales in clothing are always slow. Now is the time to get a bunch of listings put together, clean up your store, review your inventory, etc.

Of course, eBay is not able to "guarantee minimum sales for store owners" and there is no evidence that eBay has ever done that.
No one forced you to have a store. If you are unhappy with your situation, cancel your store if you can.

What "definite route" do you expect eBay to create?
You have evidently opened a store in expectation of greater sales.
It hasn't happened evidently, so close your store.
If it turns out that your route is not working for you, then it's time for YOU to redirect your efforts.

The justifiable reason is that you asked them to.

No one here is saying you don't have the right to cancel your subscription.
If it isn't working for you, then you should certainly do that.
Subscriptions work well for some sellers, but evidently not for you.
Problem solved.

With over 300 listings but only 39 items Sold in the past 90 days, there is no way that a Store subscription is cost-effective for you. You'd be much better off to just drop the subscription and stick with the 250 free insertions that non-stores get each month.

I've read your posts in the past. You've bragged about all the sales you supposedly make. However, when looking over your listings and photos, you appear more on the amature side then more of a clothing pro. Your photos are not the greatest, and you are not making "deals". You either have to be making deals, or offering something shoppers just can't find. You are selling with neither in mind.
I'm not a clothing seller, but I have sold some in the past. What a clothing seller has to do, to get listings sold, is a lot more work that someone selling collectables or electronics. You are just listing shoes. That's fine to niche into shoes. But you are one off-ing, what I see. You don't offer multiple sizes of the same shoe. How would a shoe store in the mall do, offering shoes the way YOU do?
You want to do free listings, have at it. Makes no difference to any of us. You just won't be able to list more than the small allotment without paying more fees, and your FVF will be higher. Over time, all that adds up, especially when sales pick back up at some point.
For me, it would be way more costly NOT to have a store. I have thousands more items right now, to list, let alone what inventory I will acquire over the short term. Your store should be working off a yearly average, not month to month. Everyone in every category has some months that are worse than others.

Actually, yes numerous mall owners have been giving reduced rent for the past decade and the few survivors continue to give breaks.

Comparing two totally different markets really is not a very good example. Retail Sales equate to Commercial Rental Real Estate Markets, just don't see it.

Changes are being made by individuals who have zero knowledge in the specific fields sellers sell in. When IT takes over the direction of a company, errors occur at a higher rate than when they are told the path to follow. Is all you have to look at is what were Fortune 50 companies 10 to 20 years ago. A wheel goes round and round, trying to re-invent that round wheel into a triangle makes for a rough road ahead.

It seems like the OP is looking for someone to agree with him, "Yes, it's eBay's fault that you've paid for a store, but are not getting more sales."

Lol I understand your perspective but that is not the issue here, the issue is that the Landlord is undermining the essence of paying rent without providing commensurate benefits for the tenant.
