You really need to solve your own problems. High shipping prices really doesn't have anything to do with why people aren't buying your items. Right now people are purchasing what is essential. My guess is most people don't need a brass lamp, Sri Lanka money or seeds (which by the way are prohibited on Ebay as well as customs) Your prices are just too high. Do you know here in the US we can get 3 sponges for about $1? Yours are listed at $12. Do you really think someone is going to pay that kind of money for a sponge? Not to mention waiting weeks or months to receive from SL.
Lower your prices and find things to sell that people are interested in. Maybe art, fabrics, hand made crafts or what ever your country represents that you CAN sell on Ebay.
Good luck and Happy Sales.

The "secret" to selling items on eBay is two fold.
1. Listing items people want to buy.
2. Being the lowest price option in your category.
Examine each of your listings. Sort by lowest price. Are you at the top?
Then search for "completed" and "sold" items in Advanced search. When was the last time a similar item sold that you have listed? Was it recently? If so, you missed that sale because you were overpriced.
It's the reality of eBay. There is no edge to be found other than price/condition/demand.

Seems like a COMMON theme these days on this daily changing platform. One thread has NO sales in 2 days, another has NO sales in 10 days, etc. I would NOT be surprised to see a thread with NO sales in 365 days. LOL With ALL the mindless changes for BOTH sellers, buyers alike, is it any wonder NO or decrease in sales? Seems like eBay is doing a TOTAL remodel to make it more difficult, as in more clicks to get to where you need to go, or hiding the seller's details page until you click to show the details, click to show more feedbacks, NO more feedback icons on the purchase history page, etc, etc.
This is the sellers and buyers reactions when they see the mind numbing, "what were they thinking" changes:

How are these changes resulting in your not getting sales? I don't see how eBay is to blame for a lack of sales.
I see a mid-week dip in sales. But eBay is just a numbers game.
If you can post quality listings
List as many new items as you sell per day. Expect to sell about 10 percent of your inventory per week. So if you have 200 items listed, expect to sell 20 per week as long as your items meet the bulleted list. It's not an all inclusive list. But it is a good start.
I'd say before we can start blaming eBay's changes to a lack of sales, we should master all of these things. Sometimes you can price yourself out of the market by simply accepting default/suggested shipping. Shipping Priority isn't cheap and it's eBay's default.
If my items aren't selling, my items are overpriced. I can choose to wait for the market to come to me, or I can lower my price and turn over that slot to list a new item. It's a decision whether you make it consciously or not. On these items, I just lower it a dollar every week until it sells. I can either be greedy and hold inventory, or I can sell things for what the market will pay.

The past month appears to be slow for a lot of sellers. It may be because buyers are working on their taxes or are consumed with dealing with other life activities/events. A lot of your listings already have free shipping. If your postage cost is high you may want to check your cost model to make sure you are not loosing money.

Good call on the seeds.
I was surprised that the seller had two sales of the 4 pack of sponges.

This is not a forum to whine and lament about sales. This forum is to ask questions about advice with a specific question. If you have broad question about how to improve sales, I suggest you first consult AI. You get lots of free resources today. Come back with resolving specific issues. Where you can consult general advice:

You can ask the AI tools also to rewrite your listings to make them more attractive.
This one is specifically for copy:
Then come back with questions.

Sellers from this community constantly sell items that are prohibited by Ebay as well as customs. They're all over this site. They're shipping them with bugs, mites in them and the good lord knows what else. People here on the forum advise them not do it incessantly, yet they ignore our advice, only to come here later and ask why Ebay suspended them. This is something Ebay really needs to crack down on. Some are selling cow kaka and putting it in zip lock bags. Seriously. My guess is those don't get thru customs for the smell alone. lol.

I think you were being a little too harsh with your response to @onhomemart People come to this forum all the time to whine and complain about low sales. The question that was being asked was how to increase sales. Granted, that is a big task, but it deserved a polite answer.

You are running a lot of auctions with very low starting bids, but still not garnering interest. That could mean a number of things.
It could be the item is simply not in demand. Or it could mean the right eyes are not on your items, because of some problem with the listing itself. It can also mean the buyer doesn’t want to wait a week before he knows if he won the auction, when he can buy it immediately from another seller.
Auctions are well suited for rare, high demand, one of a kind items. Fixed price listings do well for commodities or regular everyday items.
Looking at your listings, i think your titles need some attention. Adding more specific identifiers and appropriate keywords may help bring more eyes to your listings.
I also noted in several of your listings that you are using a disclaimer, telling the buyer to examine the photos themselves to determine the condition of the item. While every buyer should do their due diligence, the seller must also be diligent in describing any flaws and giving pertinent facts regarding the condition as well.
Good luck in your endeavors, and hope your sales pick up soon.

I think there may be some confusion regarding the purpose of this particular discussion board. The OP is certainly welcome, along with the dozens upon dozens of other members every week, to post regarding sales activity.
Welcome to the Selling board! You can chat with other sellers about anything to do with running a business on eBay

Well, hold on there! If the sponge do the dishes for me for $12? I'm all in twice over!
