I just received a message a buyer wants to return a Mirro cookie press pusher. The reason~~he ordered a 2 1/2" instead of the 3" he really needs. Ebay allowed me to refuse the return request~~I did.
THEN within minutes I received a message from a buyer who purchased a Wear Ever Super Shooter Cookie Press barrel loader~~CLEARLY pictured in the listing. He said what he needed was the part to put the dough in (the barrel). If he files to return I also have the option to refuse his request.
I know sellers think a no return policy is a bad thing BUT it sure helps out when you have buyers who don't know what they want or need. Even with pictures and measurements they still can't purchase the correct item.
A no return policy pays off in the end~~When correctly pictured and described the buyer owns it. I'm off the hook for accepting the return for their mistake.

Well, here we go again. Got a neutral yesterday for metal needles for a knitting machine~~smoke odor & dirty. I called ebay since I have the smoke odor disclaimer in my listings. They said I had to work with the buyer to get her to remove the feedback.
So--I contact the buyer and point out my smoke odor disclaimer and the point she bought them anyway. I told her the needles weren't dirty~~the pics show the tarnish on the needles. IF these 10 little needles smell like smoke, wash them with soap and water~~they are metal.
She answered back that when she got them her whole house smelled like smoke within minutes of opening the package????? She said the needles were covered in oily waxy gooey stuff that got all over her hands????
I answered her back telling her the exact steps I took in packing these~~took the needles out of the DRY box, counted out 10 and placed them in a NEW zip baggie, rolled the baggie up and rolled it again in NEW off the roll bubble wrap and placed it in a NEW pink or purple (I use both colors) padded envelope. There is no way these had oily wax gooey stuff all over them.
I think she had me mixed up with someone else but refuses to admit it. She bought these Nov. 3 and left the feedback Dec. 22?? Ebay said I have 60 days to get the feedback removed so maybe I'll just call them every day for the next 60 days.
I did have a message from the reamer buyer this morning~~she figured out how to separate the reamers so is happy she has all 3. Now to get the return case closed. Her case along with the case for the cookie press part (the guy ordered the wrong size) are both on my dashboard now as returns.
I can only hope these "buyers" crawl back under their rocks after Christmas. It's getting ridiculous.

Next time these buyers need something they will go to the manufacturer's website or to a retail store to buy what they want, and will be able to return the item, probably for free, if it turns out to be the wrong thing. You have driven them off eBay. I assume that makes you happy.

Don't know about her but It makes me happy I don't want these kinds of buyers on eBay to buy from me later. Let them go bother their local retail establishments instead. Eventually no one will want to deal with them though

This is the way I feel as well. When a buyer lies right to my face about the condition of an item they received nearly 2 months ago I hope my follow up feedback to that buyers neutral may save another seller from having to deal with her.

Buyers that expect a seller to pay for the buyers mistakes who are driven off eBay are a loss I'm willing to accept.

PayPal requires buyer return on their own dime.

Would you like to deal with this buyer? If so, I hope you are involved in a transaction with her and have the same experience I had. Then she will wait nearly 60 days to leave feedback~~I see a method to her madness.
I have a no return policy for a reason~~so I don't have to accept buyer remorse returns. I take advantage of that right that ebay gives me.
