I have been in customer with eBay for 12 years. This past year with the new owners has been a nightmare. I have been punished for not shipping according to the way they want it done. The punishment has been two-thirds of my merchandise removed from my shop and restricted to how many items I can post for sale. I am being charged premium store price but I only have basic number of merchandise allowed I am overpaying for the store. I have contacted eBay numerous times over the past 6 months to correct this error but with no reply whatsoever. Not only am I overpaying for the shop I am now forced to pay one month in advance for the shop. I'm being charged premium store prices but only receiving basic store benefits. I want a rebate, a refund, for the services I am being denied.

If improve your Seller Metrics eventually EBAY will remove restrictions on your account.  Important to ship item promptly and provide tracking# and not get customer complaints (did not receive item or not as described) or cancel sale (due to "out of stock").

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/ebay

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

It appears you have some misunderstandings that are certainly adding to your frustrations.

Ebay has always had Performance requirements for sellers.  One of them is you are required to ship within your stated handling time.

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/seller-levels-performance-standards/seller-levels-performance-stan...

Yes, if you are consistently shipping late, Ebay will sanction you.

As for your store level.  You don't seem to run enough listings to require a Premium or a Basic store.  Do you normally have 300+ listings running all the time?  If that were to be the case, then a Basic store is a good investment.  It would take a whole lot more listings regularly to justify a Premium store.

If your store is a month to month, close it.  It is a waste of your money.  At least until you get your seller stats back in order.

https://sellerstandards.ebay.com/dashboard?region=US

Ebay can't correct your store level.  You signed up for a level and that is the level you currently are being charged for.  If you signed up for a one year subscription, to close the store may cost you a bit in penalty fees to close it now.  But if it is low enough, it would be worth some penalty.

You are being denied the service because you aren't complying with the terms of the site.  You need to follow the rules for sellers.  It is Ebay's site and we sell here and must adhere to their rules.

That is usually what happens when rules are not followed.

Your negative and neutral feedback suggests some serious bad buyer experiences as well.

Not sure about "not shipping the way Ebay wants it done"... you can ship any way you want, just make sure the carrier tracking is uploaded, or mark it as shipped.

Based on your feedback, you pick and choose what to send and how to send and IF to send.

As far as your store subscription, that's also your choice.  If you chose a premium store, that's what you have. With 69 items, you don't even need a store subscription

Looks like you've canceled some transactions too, thats the kiss of death for sellers. Ebay hates disappointed buyers, feeling that they will not come back. Not surprising that your account is restricted.

What new owners?

Got any idea what "new owners" the OP is referring to?

They probably thinks that Jamie Iannone owns eBay (he is a shareholder so does "own" a tiny bit of eBay).

Of course Iannone has been CEO since April 2020 which conflicts with "This past year with the new owners".

"... you can ship any way you want,"

You can use an outside service such as Pirate Ship, but you have to use the service level that was chosen by the buyer and in the handling time shown in the listing. You can upgrade the service level but not down grade.

I don't have a clue as to what they are referring to with that statement.  Ebay is a publicly traded corporation.  I have not heard of anyone new purchasing a controlling interest in Ebay.

Who are these new owners? And why do none of us know about them?

Canceling a few sales might have also done it...and the reason why you cancel the sales.

Just my thoughts.

You don't think you should be punished for not doing things the way they are supposed to be done?

Why not?
