Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening.
I had several auctions end and nothing...zilch.....nada.....!!!!
Is something wrong with what I am selling? I notice identical items are selling, not mine. Is it my pics?
I have decided to just put everything down to 1.00 and see what happens. I am beginning to wonder if I can give it away!!! All this crap that I have bought that isn't selling is starting to pile up. I am ready to just give it away so I can reclaim my junk room!!!!!

The Sarsaparilla is starting out at 9.99. 20.38? Not sure where that amount came from. I just took it for granted that they are used. They have been sitting in an old shed for years. Yeah, you are right....not everything sells on Ebay. I have in the last month and a half, been away from Ebay. I stopped selling because of this very reason, things I get no longer sell. I am going to have to broaden my horizons a bit on what to sell. Things sure don't sell like they used to.

My dollar item just got a bid. 11 pieces of nice old linens for 1.00. I guess I better get used to it.

Your pics are fine. A couple of things I noticed:
Finally, not everything sells on eBay ... and, some things can take years to sell.

I just added a 'buy it now' for 15.99. I also changed the title on the root beer to ''Unopened'. Maybe that will help. I am starting off with stuff that I have stockpiled up for years. Mostly little stuff. Just to get my feet wet again. Out of 37 items I have listed, 16 has sold. That is a little less than half. Thanks for your suggestions.

Not all items are suited for auctions. Unless the item is rare and/or sought after, many buyers don't want to have to wait for an auction to end to know whether or not they've won, especially if they can just purchase that item outright somewhere else.

Presumably that's after you add on the Shipping charge, such as the $8.97 in Shipping that I am seeing (to me here in Chicago). Maybe it's $10.39 for Shipping to a different destination (or after tax)?

Diversify a little and try other forums/venues I sell less than 30% of my items on eBay. I move a lot of things on local forums where the buyers don't have to worry about shipping or not liking the item after they get it or don't get it given the shipping issues these days. After awhile if it does not sell on one of the forums I simply donate it to a charity and take the tax write off or sell it for the scrap metal value which have some pretty good prices at the moment.

ebay sales are rolling up and down again - I finally got back views and sales, figured the PL problems were finally solved - and then all of a sudden, no views again.
sigh.

The tea towels are adorable. Your shipping is way too high. IMHO.

It might be your TOS - I would absolutely never buy from you. I run when a seller tells me that insurance is my responsibility.

Well, you don't have to worry about your photographs, yours are excellent. Very sharp, clear and detailed, showing all sides.

The $20.38 was price+shipping.
"Old shed for years"? It is against eBay's Food Policy to sell old (which I assume is expired) food products.

I think most people would buy, knowing that the OP actually is responsible. But why would a 20-year seller be clueless about this?
I'll disagree about the photos. If that's a white background, the exposure is way too dark. If it's not a white background, it should be replace with one that is white.

Most of your listings only get one bid, so I'd do away with auctions.
Auctions are good for rare hard to find items, not your every day items.
