Next coming obstacle to selling (Not Ebay this time)

So the next obstacle that will be affecting all sellers and business a like > No Diesel Fuel
Can't ship if no carrier can't run their planes, ships and trucks - the entire shipping and supply world runs on Diesel. 

Sure most have heard now the US has approx 25 days of Diesel supply - but it's already affecting shipping. I have x amount of packages that have been in customs for days - weeks haven't moved one iota. I have packages in France in La Poste possession for several weeks now with tracking still saying "preparing for shipment" with several more added this week that surely won't be moving before the others. I have packages in Pilly and Pittsburg PA (Philly seems to be the worse one USPS), FL, CA of stock sitting now for almost a week with no movement. I have also several shipments of shipping boxes coming UPS sitting also in IA delayed but UPS told me today they will be delivered next week. 

Anyone else seeing delays on their shipments either coming in or gone out or is it just a lucky week for me?

Haven't noticed a thing. I don't watch or listen to the news so I'm immune.

Heard about the diesel thing last week. My guess is it'll get worked out before it all runs out. But I also think we'll be seeing some outfits looking into biodiesel or something. Watch fry grease prices skyrocket.

Not here. I just had two go cross country to CA in two days. I received a Media Mail package from two states away in two days, too.

Checked my one I have coming from Japan and it was mailed and then departed Japan yesterday.

Yep it is coming and can be headed off, simply remember how all this started and do not make the same mistake twice in the next few weeks. There is NO shortage of fuel!

Planes don’t run on diesel. They run on kerosene. Better known as jet fuel.

Our gas prices went up to $2.299 a litre for a couple of weeks while the refinery in Washington state was being upgraded. They are back to "only" $1.939 today.

The USA has petroleum and has huge stockpiles of the stuff. You also refine your own.

If there is a shortage take a look at the profits of oil companies. They may be holding back product so that they can raise your gas and diesel costs without the general public realizing where to place the blame.

I think a few months ago they tried the same thing and the president opened the reserves. After the November election, if the Congress goes Republican, he will have trouble doing that.

Focus on what you can control and do not live in the fear that so many use to control your inner self. Fear and hate are fed to us daily by some. They never offer solutions or try to work and solve issues, they just blame someone else for their own failures. They attack the inner being by feeding you fear and hate. See through the lies and understand the global economy started back in the 80's. Economies do not change overnight. Today's results are from what happened a few years back (Covid, trade war, tax break for ultra-wealthy). The infrastructure bill will take a few years to show the results. It all starts with mining and then bulk shipments of materials. The Great Lake carriers handled record amounts of raw materials this year, but it still will take a few years to see the benefits. Focus on what you can control.

biofuel won't solve any issue, it's very expensive to do and can't supplement diesel.

packages I have sent no issue thus far, packages coming in getting held up. I send mostly media, but stuff coming in a lot of it is priority.

didn't make the mistake once, not a dem. There is shortage of fuel though, not just US experiencing supply issues.
