I know this is not the right place for this but there is no other choice. What has happened to eBay. I have traded on eBay since 2002. What happened to the old site? It used to be simple and easy to navigate. Now it is the most confusing things i have fooled with. Is there any way to bring back the old format?

Yes, buy eBay and change it.

I'm having no troubles trading on the site. Are you asking about the new listing form? It's confusing at first...

Things change over time.
Some for better, some for worse.
You have to learn to change with the times.
Is there any way to get the old site back? No.
Here is a screen shot of ebay in 1999, the year I joined. Enjoy. 😃

So nostalgic...

If we brought back the "old Ebay" that many sellers keep asking for, they are usually talking about the 1998/1999 version of Ebay.
If we did that, we would all go out of business pretty quickly, to include Ebay. Bank then we did not have a Mobile App, electronic payments and tons of other things that make Ebay run now.
We all have to move forward instead of staying stuck in the past. Things change. Buyers have certainly changed over the years. We have to move with the market. Trying to fight it will only hurt you.

I looked at sewing patterns which I sell on another ID. Prices haven't changed much although there is no indication of shipping price.
What really stands out is how few have pictures-- and that eBay specifically used an icon to indicate that those sellers had paid to have pictures.
There's a fee newbies (less than 20 years on the site) don't remember.
We were able to take credit cards since we had had a merchant card account for some 20 years at that point, but mostly it was waiting for personal checks, hoping for money orders and cursing American buyers who sent domestic MOs to us here in Canada, where we couldn't deposit them.

Everything in life changes, that is progress. Whatever you are struggling with, just take your time and you will learn it just as you learned the 'old way'. Best of luck to you....
