Hi eBay Community & Team,
We would like to confirm if the below emails(images attached) from eBay are legitimate and within the purview of eBay global marketplace policy.
Sellers specifically from India have been receiving these emails from last few months and it has been stressful doing business with the constant threat of restrictions. Our understanding is there are already inbuilt and automated eBay policies with regards to SNAD and INR globally and we are unable to find the below new policies mentioned anywhere on eBay.
One of the emails below is forcing the sellers to register on their global shipping program which is both expensive and unreliable compared to other shipping service providers available locally. We believe this is against the spirit of eBay fair global marketplace.
Attaching a few received emails below.

here`s the deal with ebay
it does not matter to ebay that you can sell
they do not make any money unless you ship to the customer
shipping product is what its all about and ebay wants it done
if you cant ship like you are supposed to do then ebay has no place for you except for the bottom of the pack where you get a jacked up FVF
actually you are on ebays radar now
either do this or dont is what they are trying to tell you
ebay has many ways to make a seller fall in line with the program
if you dont want to ship on time then you may as well hang it up
you should look into your ebay messages to see if its real..sounds real to me but I am in the USA
good luck

The new guidelines for seller performance are real. They were explained in an announcement on the eBay India Community boards here:
You will need to improve your performance to meet the expectations that are explained there, and the consequences if you don't improve are clearly explained as well.
This way, you have advanced warning that you need to make improvements, and a clear understanding of what you need to do and what will happen if you don't. At least they are only restricting selling limits. For USA sellers who don't meet the performance requirements, eBay charges higher fees as well as imposing restrictions.

As a USA seller, if these were EMAILS sent to me at my EMAIL account, I would not assume they are real. If they were eBay Messages sent to me by eBay, I would assume they are real.
Is it common for eBay in India to use email instead of eBay messages?
