Hello everyone, as of this week we have noticed that our sales have dropped substantially. Our traffic/impressions on our adds has fallen substantially as well out of nowhere. We have tried reaching out to a ebay representitive multiple times and every time was informed that ebay was changing the algorithim for selling items (specific keywords in title, etc) we have done the changes as they recommended, blank revisions, and adjusting titles to specific keywords to drive in customers . Just wondering if we are the only one out there that has noticed these substantial changes and if anyone has any ideas how to help boost them back up! Appreciate the help.

Unfortunately - we never know when Ebay tinkers with the algorithms or what changes we have to make to regain our visibility. I've jumped thru al the hoops to maintain visibility but my sales took a nosedive back in Sept - they finally started to recover last month.
I continue to change key words and update pictures. I recently dropped out of GSP but haven't noticed any change in sales. I seldom look at the click thrus and stats as there are so many problems with the view counts being messed up - the solds if you filter your items - not corresponding to the sold items in hub, ect.. that I don't know if the clicks thrus and the impressions are correct. I have found running a sale with markdown manager - does generate more business as you seem to get better visibility.
Those who have more business sense and watch all the numbers should be along shortly to give you their opinions. Good luck!

Adam Smith's Invisile Hand at work.
The attached bar chart is my sales for the l;ast month, on a daily basis. There is no consistency, nor would I ever expect one.
And to those who claim eBay throttle's sales, then explain the wide swings on a daily basis. If they were throttling sales then on those peak days wouldn't they have shut me off before I got too high.
Sales volume changes for an infinite number of reasons, most of which are not predictable.

As I said - I had a bad run for months - nothing I did would bring my sales up - but they have recovered. Have you received a lot of returns? Are your shipping metrics suffering? Have you compared what you are selling with the going market rate today so you're competitive?
