New account, can I somehow link old feedback?

Good Morning!

I think I know the answer to this, but want to have it confirmed.

I have a seller account with 1000+ feedback.  My husband wants to open a new account for selling a different kind of item.  Is there a way that he, (in the item description), can refer or link to our existing seller account for feedback/reputation?

Thanks!

No, there is no way to link the FB.

Re: New account, can I somehow link old feedback?

According to the web at large, "cross-referencing" is not permitted by eBay's rules. Sellers are permitted to have more than one selling account for various reasons (except to skirt limitations or suspensions), but may not use one account to promote listings on another account.

This seems reasonable but I can't find the exact citation in eBay's rules.

You might consider gradually transitioning from your old account to the new one. List the item in both, and as sales begin to pick up with accumulating feedback you can move all of your stock to the new one. You may find that feedback isn't holding you back.

Keep in mind that eBay has no authority over what you do elsewhere. The web is full of forums for merchants and shoppers searching for specific items. You aren't prohibited from mentioning that you and your husband are both eBay sellers, and linking all of your accounts elsewhere.
