New Store Requirements

I just noticed on my seller hub page a note that says 'finish setting up your store to help improve conversion". When I click on this I see what I would describe as a complete required revision to your store. Also maybe I am just completly lacking in computer skills "very possible at my age" yet I do not understand how to easily and effectively make these changes. I am totally confused by the store category options. Has anybody worked on this or done this conversion?

I am receiving the same message. I added a store banner with my current promotion (8% off select items) and completed (published) that. Still receiving the same message that I need to complete store set up so I am at a loss. Have filled in everything, page looks very cluttered. 

Hopefully someone else will come along and let us know what they are still needing. Best of luck with sales.

If you read the line above it . It says "Suggested actions" it does'nt mean you have to comply. 

I have the same thing my store is busy enough with out an extra doohicky or whatchamacallit. So I choose to ignore it. You can too.

Yes, I agree, I am ignoring the current "complete your store" suggestion & think I will take down the promotional banner. Looks very cluttered. Thanks for your support. Good sales to you.

@m_pthisandthat  @drinkwine1204 That same message just appeared on my Seller hub today also. They said I have completed 7 out of 8 tasks. They want me to add a video, which doesn't make sense for what we sell here. I'm just going to ignore it. They want you to use the new features that they've added. For the categories part, If you click on Manage My Store, go all the way to the bottom of the page on the left. I chose Store Categories. instead of ebay categories.

If it's not mandatory, just ignore it. I used to get so frustrated when ebay kept sending me Add Item Specifics. Most of the fields didn't even apply to what I was selling. I finally saw that it said Required in the first part, then Recommended in the second part. So I clicked Don't Remind Me Again,  as long as the required part was filled in. I often put Does not Apply or Unknown and it worked.   Good Luck!
