Some sellers, especially new ones, already have enough confusion understanding shipping. Why throw so many more out there that aren't even relevant to the shipment?
Notice my dimensions - 14x14x6 (and yes, it was updated but that button appears regardless)
There were a few more that were totally useless too, but there was one thing I did like. I couldn't touch the Media Mail option (greyed out)
There were a total of 4 choices that would be appropriate for that package size.
Priority Mail
Priority Mail Large Package (same rate as reg Priority Mail - the box isn't subect to dimensional weight)
Parcel Select - which wasn't an option in the listing, is a downgrade in service for 29 cents more, and is one the customer didn't select
Priority Mail Express
Why do they even offer Parcel Select as a shipping option when it wasn't offered in the listing and the customer paid for Priority? Oh? To annoy buyers who get downgraded when some seller chooses it thinking it's okay because, well, it's offered???

Seems like such a small thing to be complaining about?
Many times my buyer contact me and want a quicker service and sometimes I can do it for them and sometimes I can not. By having it available makes it easier to accomodate in these instances.
Good Luck Selling!

I disagree. Those options shouldn't even be made available if they aren't viable. I get offering an upgrade - but that would be the Priority Express option which I already stated was a viable option and also happened to be the last of the 14 options offered. 9 were physically impossible. 1 was a downgrade.
Yeah, I do understand that the seller who ships a 6x6x3 box may realize that "hey I might be able to fit this into a SFRB and lower shipping costs, but what about the seller who buys the SFRB label for their 14x14x6 box because it was available??

But I will add (as I just checked) that if I do select something like the SFRB, it does expand to say USPS Priority Packaging and gives the dimensions of that box, but I think it would still let me purchase it in spite of the actual dimensions given on the form (I didn't go through with the actual purchase, but it gave me the Pay/Purchase label button)

That's not quite the point. The new form is offering alternative shipping options that are either inappropriate (e.g. slower than what was paid for) or physically impossible based on the item or package details (e.g. undersized packaging). The seller can certainly upgrade if desired, but that option was in the old form as well; it just wasn't presented in such a confusing, in-your-face manner that inexperienced sellers could be led astray into a bad choice.

"New Shipping Label Platform really needs fine tuning"
Yes, it DOES ...... it needs a "fine tuning" with a 40 pound sledge hammer !
