New Reply to Feedback ... ANOTHER FAIL!

I reply to all Feedback and this morning when I went to do that a New Reply to FB function appeared ... without warning of and without explanation of course. AND ALL MY PRE-TYPED REPLIES ARE GONE!!!!!
Why don't these people spend their time fixing things that are actually broken instead of complicating things that are already working? I typed in the first letter of one of my canned replies and All my pre-typed Replies are gone and I hope I don't find out as I type new ones they are NOT retained and that I have to type a message every single time. This is so aggravating ...

The person/people responsible for the seller experience and seller tools would be Harry Temkin and his team.
I've been very encouraged at how responsive to feedback @Anonymous has been on several other issues with the tools and experiences they are rolling out. 😊 Hopefully he'll check back in on the boards here soon and help get these issues with the new feedback feature addressed too.

Maybe if harry does show up he can do something about the message to buyer when you print a label not "sticking" in the new (latest) iteration of the label page?

It's probably easier for him to keep track of if we tag him on a specific issue in a thread that has examples of it. 😊

Just a guess, but the most likely reason that you're not able to recall stored replies is because the internal form field name in this new revision is not the same as the old one you're used to using, and thus the system doesn't (yet) have any previous replies associated with it.
I did see in later posts here that the replies don't seem to be getting saved for this new field, but that would be a separate complaint to make.
This complaint is not all that unusual, really, especially in cases like eBay's where it does not appear that revisions to existing pages are being made by the same people who coded them in the first place.
@a_c_green You are spot on about the auto-save for typed replies ... they are NOT being stored. You are also correct about the new designers not coding like the older, more experienced ones ... they must be shopping out their programming to some really cheap and inexperienced companies ... or using interns from college. But regardless of the source, the programmers are NOT users so are clueless when it comes to programming PLUS those at eBay who "should" be overseeing what they are actually doing are not Sellers or users themselves ... just another job I suppose to chat about around the dinner table when they get home ... or perhaps when they walk downstairs after working on their laptop at home all day ...

I tried to leave some feedback today, but to do that I have to sign in AGAIN and when I was confronted with the Capcha NIGHTMARE, I gave up.
Was so easy, I left feedback all the time, but no more.
Maybe killing feedback was the whole purpose of this.

Apparently buyers are not to thrilled with the new Feedback changes either.

I just left feedback for two items that I purchased. My canned feedbacks were still there.
I am a volunteer here to try and help others, so be nice and remember - My advice might well be worth what you're paying for it.

Sorry, I made a mistake, I didn't get an email, it was a message in a box that popped up when I looked at my feedback page.

To eliminate the extra typing work and having to create comments new each time, you could create a Word document on your computer desktop with the pre-typed feedback comments you want to use, and then just cut/paste a comment from the Word document into the feedback comment box.

...some IT guys on eBay see the needs of "brainstorm" so their positions won't be obsoleted or justified...
...btw, all my pre-typed feedback was "gone with the wind"...
