New Programs Roll Out Question

Why when other competitors just down the river  for example make changes that there are no hiccups, learning curves, etc to iron out and thus cause sellers unjust problems.

I get it eBay is as huge as can be but so are others out there and there seems to be no problems.

It's like every time over the years there is a program change we (sellers) get dumped on.

Because most of our pockets are not as deep as eBay's it is extremely painful to ride out the learning curves of program changes.

I wish that when eBay makes changes they were more  able and willing to get things done right the first time like other big league players.

Just my two cents

New Programs Roll Out Question

It's been some years since I've sold on Amazon. But they've had plenty of issues with roll outs.

I recall plenty of people complaining in their seller forums how they seem to push new stuff the most in 4th quarter causing them problems.

big league players?

Maybe you are giving them too much credit?  for what they used to be and not for what they currently are?

The "M"  "E"  "P   FB Marketplace"  and more are the products of frustration from Ebay,

We can see eBay's share in the Ecommerce market has been in constant decline for years.

Ebay pockets are still deep but with the current direction of failure to provide the services we deserve as paying customers while asking us continually to "pay MORE to play"  in various fees,

while they are experimenting on our live listings and livelihood?

Maybe the management is content with the way things are?

Hmm, 🤔

Ok but still, you can't justify or defend  Ebay's train wreck of glitchery with such excuses, even if Amazon has roll out issues as well, it doesn't makes Ebay less responsible for their lack or inability to perform.

we are paying for this service and deserve better then half baked roll outs such as the recent one Ebay gifted  us.

Not defending anything. But pretending that eBay does poor rollouts or has issues while the others don't is just silly.

Facebook has gotten a little better, but I would just give up on some listings because more than a few times I was unable to do something as simple as change the price. Made even worse that you couldn't just recreate the listing because it does hash checks on the photos and prevents you from using the same ones because of that unless you modify them a little first.
