There will likely be an increasing amount of this confusion @Anonymous when more buyers purchase from different sellers, but eBay is unvaryingly identified line after line as the seller instead for every one of those purchases.

I understand your reply...but it has always been a one stop shop using PP with all of the info needed (except lately they don't show the buyer's email) but my program captures it) without having to go to ebay workarounds or back into eBay to find out who paid, when they paid, what was paid, what item does the deposit refer to....UNLESS like my bank account? Sure I have the check number highlighted and I can click on and copy the info. Wouldn't that be nice if that process would be incorporated into this new Payment system....maybe highlight the ebay item number like a check (or whatever number ebay is now using). Trying to think of everything that will make this new process work without multiple clicks back and forth between ebay and the funding source. JMO.

Oh, I get your point/issue @abfabvintage ,
I was just pointing out that the "change" is not insurmountable. So many come to the boards and focus on the down side of some of these (ridiculous) changes without accepting it has changed and lamenting the fact for eternity will not change that change. If only some would bash the change and then look for solutions and share the solution instead of the problem many would not need to open their umbrella's as the sky is only cloudy, not falling in. Refusing to buy from a site because you don't like the format of the billing/purchase statement is a bit of overkill. I hate the new format of my natural gas bill, but I haven't started buying coal in protest.........................

Hi @dede394, it is unlikely that this will result in widespread confusion since this is the normal experience for almost every other website. On other sites where individual sellers list items for sale, the transaction is recorded as being made to the marketplace itself, not the individual seller. Though I understand that how things are displayed has changed since PayPal is not the payment processor for these purchases, what is being described here is the normal experience for an online purchase - the buyer can still find all of their transaction details in their purchase history, and a seller can find all of these details in the Orders tab of Seller Hub (or in My eBay > All Selling).
