Are the maximum dollar limits on the new international shipping program the same as global shipping (i.e. around $2500 for most countries)?
Thanks

I was just told, in an agent chat session (which is certainly not a guarantee that this is correct) that there is no limit:
"Maximum amount is not specified, but I guarantee you that there is no maximum amount of item."

Items are eligible for export and the cost doesn't exceed $500 USD through eBay International Shipping program

NO. The new EIS program has $150 in coverage right now. Early next year it will move to $500. After that I don't know how much or when it would change again.

$500 is the maximum cost of the item through the new program? So, they've lowered it from $2500 to $500?

The $500 isn't until the new year. It is not in place now as I previously explained.

They are incorrect. And it isn't a limit on how much you can send through the program. It is what you are covered for by Ebay. Currently it is $150 and in January sometime it will go to $500.

If it is a policy then it should be clearly SHOWN in policy and not told by customer service reps different amounts NOR in FAQ.

I don't disagree.

According to the following page items need to be less than $500 to be sent through eBay international program.
To sell through the eBay International Shipping program, the following requirements apply:
Canada max is 66lbs billable weight.
I couldn’t find anything on the link that you posted that specified a seller would only be covered for a specific $ amount. Where do you see that info? All I could find was that an item had to be under $500 to be sent through EIS.

Great, thanks for the info. It's always sad just how poorly informed Ebay support is.
Also, this new program is much worse for me than the old one. Lower weights, dimensions and, especially, dollar amounts. Half the items I sold on GSP wouldn't qualify in the new program. Though, TBH, I only had 1-2% of my sales through GSP.
