Exceptions
30-day free returns is required for most categories, but there are exceptions in select categories.
- Parts & Accessories (absolutely agree this should be excluded)
- Musical Instruments & Gear (nobody wants a used Flute)
- Listings with Freight Shipping Specified ( I get it. Far to heavy)
- Media (wait, what... IM NOT getting my badge on media)
Since ebay didnt outline what EXACTLY Media is I thought I would call them and ask. But first what is Media?
According to how we sellers ship most of it, USPS descripbes Media as... "Books (at least 8 pages). Sound recordings and video recordings, such as CDs and DVDs. Play scripts and manuscripts for books, periodicals, and music."
Why would anyone offer free returns on anything you can read, watch, or listen to then just toss it in the mail for a free return?
Anyway. the CSR said Media according to eBay is Digital Media. Like e-books. They didnt have any more info...
Now Ive checked serveral TRS stores that sell DVD's and other things not Media. For the items they offer free returns. They get a badge. But not on DVD's, CD. or Books. Thats nuts.
