New Account or Account with Low Scores

How many sellers have experience posting and items for auction and a buyer with a New Account or a Low Score bid on your items and win and not pay" is this the most frustrating selling experience" on EBAY?

It happens from time to time, but I have had as many problems with high-feedback buyers as low feedback ones. Use fixed price with Immediate Payment Required - problem solved!

And it is not the worst thing that can happen.  At least you don't lose your money and your merchandise.  That's what can happen with return fraud.

I have been impressed by how many Low or No Score buyers complete transactions.  Just had a sale this weekend, No Feedback, but they paid immeadiately.  You never know what to expect!

I have sold to quite a few people with new accounts and have had a few that were non-paying bidders but a lot where honest good paying bidders as well. When that happens I just wait and if they dont pay Ebay usually will open a non-paying bidder case against the.

Because I sell collectibles a good portion of my buyers have new or low feedback accounts - even though I don't require immediate payment I don't have a non-payment problem.  To me it is the auction format that attracts the non-payers so I rarely use it.

I've found that most new buyers are still excited about buying something on eBay and are good about paying.

Over the years, my highest percentage of non payers or buyers who wait until the last day before the Unpaid Item case closes has been high feedback members who are primarily sellers.  Many of them know the drop-dead-deadlines and seem kind of jaded about the whole thing.
