Hello!
We have a long established eBay business seller account but would like to separate the selling of some items from our regular ones, as we will also have another person/office handling those sales. Idea would be to create a new seller account for that project for easiest administration. However, we understand a new account will have selling limits for a while. How can we connect the two, so that the new account can take use of the unlimited selling of the main account, as I have understood this is one of the ways to have the new account limitations lifted/not applied?
Appreciate any feedback and assistance.
Thanks

After you get the new account all set up contact ebay and request an increase of limits. Explain your situation. I did this and it only took them a few minutes to review my older account's info and increase my limits on new account.
I did this myself a couple years ago.

You cannot connect the 2, you will have to go thru the process of raising the limits just as you did on your main account. I have a second account as well and had to do the same thing, didn't take to long and now I can't essentially list as much as I want. Even though you already have an established account, they will hold your funds in the beginning for random transactions and you will only be able to list a certain amount. You can link your same bank account and everything but you cannot connect both eBay accounts. Cheers!

Hmm, ok. Not doubting your input, but I was under strong impression that opening a second account under the same business would consider it "part" of the main account. Connecting the two is actually also a way according to eBay to not undergo the general account limitations a brand new account is subjected to ("...If you have more than one seller account, you may also be able to raise your limits by linking to your other, more established seller account.").

Wrong impression

("...If you have more than one seller account, you may also be able to raise your limits by linking to your other, more established seller account.").
For what it's worth, "you may..." is some mighty uplifting language. I'd just as soon it said, "you'll never...", and then tack. 😐

Oh, so it's that 'bad' than, with getting a second account levelled up to that of the main account!?

BTW when they linked my new account to the old one they only gave my like a $50,000 limit to start with. The old one had $200,000 limit but it was certainly enough to get the new account rolling.

Ok, that sounds more of how it should work Will do so. Thank you for the input.
Btw, my earlier reply was to a message above yours, before I saw your post - delayed refreshing of page. 🙂
